EFT is Electronic Funds Transfer, the mechanism that is used when the grocery store swipes your visa, but more importantly when the bank sends the merchant the money for that swipe. These systems are about 10% hardware, 10% software and the rest is tied up in a lot of other services and components that make the stuff work. This is a business that has huge barriers to entry since you actually need to know a lot about the business to be successful.
