Kemble Hi!! House is great. Yes, the sub-1000 market is a limited one... say 15% - 20%. That's all the market share entry/low-level computing platforms will garner until PC's truly become commodities
(which we all know is still many years away).

One only needs to look to the auto industry as a comparison to see this relationship. Appliances come to mind as well.

I say let everyone else damage their balance sheet by going after this cut-throat segment. The market is growing in so many directions right now that it makes no sense for Dell to participate here. Makes you wonder if one of the reasons CPQ went after the sub-zero segment so agressively is because they knew they would'nt be competing with Dell in this space<ggg>.
