I can only guess that its 1 of 2 things.

A. A balanced invest Divest
or
B They have a phone rep calling and selling the stock
and then marking it up at a later time thus showing a higher price.
How does this happen?

A MM takes down say 10,000 shares at the bid. The MM then calls people and says buy the stock creating an uptick and the sells the 10,000 shares at the ask to people. That way no commissions show in the transaction. However...the people buy at the ask so the MM makes the difference between the bid/ask and now the uptick> get it?
