Dow 10k Problem... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CNBC reports that today's financial software systems are not prepared for the greater than 4 digits needed when the Dow moves beyond 9999.... They discovered this when looking at the Y2k problem... There is a concern that financial reporting systems could create a cascading systems crash when trying to insert a 5 digit Dow number into 4 digit buckets... Jim
