Fuchi,

I paid $2200 about three months ago for a 300 Mhz PII system that could now be purchased for around $1900. With the FPU intensive work that I am doing, I simply couldn't wait for the 400 Mhz BX. I knew the price would drop, and I'm certainly not here to defend Intel's pricing policies. Until AMD and Cyrix upgrade their FPU times clock performance, people will gladly pay an extra couple hundred dollars for the extra performance. I just don't use MS Office applications enough to value the difference that an MII system can provide. However, I should be the exception, rather than the rule.

Pravin.
