Excellent question Alan. The first that comes to mind is Callaway Golf. High integrity management. Using GM as a yardstick, INTC comes to mind. Their projections of future GM are within a few percentage points, not the eight point spread of the current goofs in IOM management. Among other stocks that I have a substantial position in, I always get straightforward answers from LSI, MIKE, DELL, and CHIR. I am not thrilled with MSFT, and it takes a lot of work to get straight answers from AOL. Kohl's Stores is another that comes to mind. Let's throw the question back at you. A: Do you feel that management integrity of IIOM is on par with other companies its size? B. What companies in which you are invested provide you with a high degree of confidence in their management integrity? Remember Mike, I'm from Chicago, and I know dirty when I see it. We have more ex-alderman and judges in jail than IOM has Clik prototypes.

Please don't use your example of the next
quarter's sales and '98 GM as a diversion, as
this seems to be the your theme for April
and May.

Alan: I don't think that properly qualifies as a diversion. To the contrary, I have never gotten a single answer from any IOM Bull as to how management can't predict this Q's revenues or the years GM, yet can assure investors that the 4Q will see a profit. That is a very serious problem. And even if I were holding IOM, because I had a terrible bleeding loss, I would still want a better set of answers than current management is giving.
