Shalom,

I for one certainly listen to your words. But if there is no repentance(turning back) there is no sacrifice, is that not correct? Paul says we do not sin more to increase grace. And there is certainly words in the bible testifying to the fact that if I am a drunk, adulterer, liar or whatever, and do not turn back from my action then there is no forgiveness, otherwise people would hold the belief that they may live anyway they want to live, and please the Father.

Jesus did tell the woman caught in adultry to SIN NO MORE. If she was saved whether or not He said that, why did He say it?

dan

My dear Bro. Shalom, I am aware of all the things you posted. I never intended to imply that homosexuality was an unforgivable sin. I was simply posting some Scriptures for those who are unaware, not for such knowledgeable individuals as yourself.

By the way, as Charles Spurgeon stated, "All of Grace".

An example:

"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites," (1 Cor 6:9 NKJV)
"nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Cor 6:10 NKJV)
"And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God." (1 Cor 6:11 NKJV)

"And such were some of you", this my friend is the pure grace of God. They were, but they are not any longer. They have been changed. This is the marvelous thing about Jesus, He can change people. Why? Because of the new birth and the Divine nature they have received from God. All things have become new. Here is the message God wants us to learn thru the preaching of the Gospel, "All things are become new", a new creation as the Apostle Paul puts it.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." (2 Cor 5:17 NKJV)

The "new creation", not a rework job or a home improvement with new plumbing and new wiring, but a new creation, changed me forever.

"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation." (Gal 6:15 NKJV)
"And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God." (Gal 6:16 NKJV)

Those in Christ have been recreated by God. We are no longer in Adam in God's sight, but are under the blood of Christ and therefore are in Christ. We have moved, from Adam to Christ.

Wonderful thing God has done for those who truly have been born again(recreated).

"But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared," (Titus 3:4 NKJV)
"not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit," (Titus 3:5 NKJV)
"whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior," (Titus 3:6 NKJV)
"that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life." (Titus 3:7 NKJV)

I think " renewing" and "regeneration" mean just that, the Spirit had died within in Adam and God renewed and regenerated the Holy Spirit within us at the new birth, thus, a new creation.

"Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?" (1 Cor 6:19 NKJV)
"For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." (1 Cor 6:20 NKJV)

Hope things are well with you and yours.

Nice to hear from you again.

Miss Steve, and Jack, and John, and others who were here first

In Christ, God bless,

David
