Thus they can make themselves look good where in reality the IRS won't be ready for Y2K. As I understand their systems aren't yet current with the last tax revisions and won't be up to snuff for Y2K. I would think they all prefer to tell their constituents, "see her what we did for you" rather than "gee, did we ever #%!* up!?" Maybe Forbes' plan for a flat tax or reasonable (or should I say UNreasonable) facsimile will happen sooner than we think. vpelt
