"hopefully we can come to a place were we can love and respect each other." No need for this Mark. I already love you and respect you as a son of Adam. Unfortuately we cannot have true fellowship and communion since you are still dead in your sins. The fallen nature of Adam kills likeness of God in men's heart. Through Faith in Jesus God recreates our human spirit in the image and likeness of God. This is why we the sons of God. I do not, however, have any respect for your present religion or your past religion. (g) I was once a Unitarian for about two years during University days. I was active in the youth group. My wife and I continued to attend after marriage for about a year, and then we drifted from our left wing liberalism to hardcore socialism--Socialist Workers Party. I believe this is the first time on SI that I give the glimpse into a segment of my past, so count yourself "choosen".
