Info... DELL DVD laptop...

just got my new DELL catalog... on p. 18, bottom left hand corner...
picture of dell inspiron notebook w/ DVD...

the picture actually shows the DVD decoder card... but only 1/3rd of it... from the looks of it, its a "fat credit card" that inserts into a slot on the computer... the cover is orange, but i can't read the words on it...

i called dell to ask about their laptop DVD option...
they use a toshiba DVD drive... the guy I spoke to at DELL is going to call me back... he's trying to find out who makes the decoder card for me...

it's priced at $299...

and by the way, their desktop DVD upgrade (that uses CUBE)... now sells for $169 extra.. down from $200 extra.
