I think your use of terms is a bit off. Every transaction has a buyer and seller. Some refer to transactions that occur near the bid to be 'sales' and transaction near the offer to be buys. I think the question is which party is the agressor....ie...did someone step in and smack a bid, hitting a more passive buy and thus create selling pressure..or did an aggressve buyer take out the offer and move th estock higher.
