Dear Hal:

Why stop there you would have to eliminate: Mouse software. Keyboard software. CD ROM software. Disk drive software. Video software. Any type of networking software. Modem drivers, printer drivers etc. This is all crap. All the things that connect the cpu to the useful world are applications and third party vendors are out there hawking them. I can think of dozens of applications and scores of third party companies that compete with and write applications that take the place of imbedded drivers in the OS's that are sold by MSFT,AAPL,Sun etc. What does the DOJ know about an OS? But the internet that is the sacred pavillion of NSCP. What are they worried about as long as they give it away it is indeed a better browser than IE on the Mac.
