For anyone who wants to study up (or get a crash course) on Apple's intranet approach prior to WWDC, I would recommend the following report from AAPL titled "Apple in the Enterprise" (a PDF download):

A good weekend to all,

from a small, rural college in "fly-over" country (KS)

Dennis,

No bad intended, but a small, rural college brings up certain visions.

If your small rural Kansas college is installing ethernet capability, then what about all the other small, rural colleges and even the bigger colleges.

Has ethernet come of age at most locations? If so, then the present Apple products, with their power, software, internet access, and ethernet capability, have the potential of explosively recapturing a large portion of the educational market.
