Hi Alski! Ameritrade seems to do options...I don't know whether it was Ameritrade or someone else who indicated that they are supportive of doing various kinds of options strategies. It's been a while since I've looked at my options books, so I don't recall (maybe never even got that far?) a lot of the terminology or strategies beyond buying & selling puts & calls covered & uncovered. Which is good enough for me at this point. I'm not an overly sophisticated investor...in spite of Doug's worthy input! As for trading options, well, I'm not at this point because the commissions at all of my current ...uh...er..."options"... cost too much to make it worthwhile. Sorta like I don't even want to consider exploring it without trying my hand...and the commission rates I'd pay make that prohibitive... watcher but maybe ISLD would make Datek worthy in spite of lack of options trading...OTOH, I don't know what's available on the net anymore, having not been pursuing the stock market in the last several months...
