Just a thought, the Prem closed about 2 points over fair value today, so unless the
futures are strong, the market will be down opening on Monday..

No that is not the way it works

The cme has a time and sale link

If you look at the futures at the time the cash closed it was around
1112.80
and the futures closed at 1115.10

that means that the futures can be NEGATIVE 2 and the market still wont go down at the open.....

this is the "Premium to cash" thing Mark Haines talks about in the mornings.

The Game site? There was a zena88 there and I thought lisa had invaded.

Actually, I had a hard time with it, as I tried first to play Hearts and then to play chess and waited for quite a long time. The Yahoo! site was mostly ads. I actually ended up trading and had a good day.

You cannot judge what Monday will do based on PREM from today's close. Too many things can happen between now and Monday.

As far as Tom's conversation with me today, I was just remarking to OJ that we need a "Nutzo Trading" thread, as passing intraday trading moves over TSO is probably not what the TSO reader wants to see.....perhaps a "TSO - Nutzo" sub-thread would be better.

Anyway, Tom made out okay, he bailed on half for about 3 and a half points and half for less than a point. I think if he gets on the standard daytrader diet of 6 stiff Irish Whiskies a day he would have the makings of a foine daytrader.

DISCLAIMER I own no stock in Irish Distillers. But I would be happy to entertain the opportunity to be awarded some options as I pitch the product regularly with some success.

BTW, I have to get you some Jazz midis.
