Welcome to the thread George - and don't worry about being a pain on this thread, quality debate is appreciated, and we all have one of those donut cushions so we can take it! I'm happy to see we finally have a poster on here who's got an even grayer (more mature, puullease!) head than mine. This GPW IMO is a good little stock, but the thin float and low volume causes weird things to happen to the price all the time - like that $1.00 spread the other day. It's easy to attribute it to some sort of manipulation, but it appears to just be statistical boredom while we wait for something concrete to be announced. I'm staying here long for the same reasons you mention, eventually even the most slow witted ostrich with his head in the sand senses that a very delicate part of his anatomy remains fully vulnerable and targeted above ground. Some senior executives may exceed this standard and catch on soon to the seriousness and reality of the Y2K problem, and successful investors will be in stocks with a solution, not a problem. And a very good evening to everyone, especially our valued cynic, Mr Forthright. (And, Mr. Forthright, I've been too busy to post, but I did in fact enjoy the little exchange you had with RBMac, just doing more lurking than posting these days) Murray
