Kamal - Re: "Compaq backs AMD with K6-266:"

Compaq also backs Intel with a 266 MHz Celeron plus 350 and 400 MHz Pentium II devices - you sort of forgot these little tid bits!

"Compaq's PC line ranges from a K6 266-MHz
system to a Pentium II 400 MHz with a
whopping 128 MB of RAM, according to
sources. A step-down unit with the same
processor features 96 MB of RAM. Compaq is
also expected to introduce a Celeron 266-Mhz
system with 64 MB of RAM. The new line also
includes PCs based on 300 MHz and 350-MHz
Pentium II processors, each with 64 MB of
RAM. "
