Project-X. A DVD based game machine???????????????????????????

headline.gamespot.com

At the Computer Game Developer's Conference, MultiGen announced that its OpenFlight visual database format will be used to develop games on VM Labs' Project X system. The authoring tools are expected to take full advantage of the Project X hardware, which MutliGen says in its statement "is expected to be optimized for real-time 3D graphics." It's been rumored that one of the features of Project X that would make it stand out from the rest would be the ability to render real-time 3D using advanced graphics processes.

MultiGen confirms in the release that Project X is scheduled for a Christmas 1998 release, and that it will include a modem (for connection to the Internet) and several other entertainment features. This is the first time a company officially tied to VM Labs has mentioned a connection with the Internet or its other "entertainment" uses (rumored to include being able to play DVDs).

VM Labs' development kit for Project X comes Ethernet-ready so that multiple programmers can share resources.

JOHN PAUL M. EUTC must be interested in data transmission. It seems that they are in merger talks with a company who is involved with 50 satellites. John-I thought that from talking to management in London, as you didn't, they seemed that they were doing research on encoders and decoders. That is why I was out on C-cubes stochtalk that day. Too bad you didn't pick up and did some research on EUTC. . It seems others did and I saw the volume on EUTC was 110,000 shares on Thursday alone.
I'M LONG ON CUBE AND DON'T HYPE ANYTHING. TSIG was at 23 cents when I saw the 10k, Iwas shocked. Well doubled up at the release of the 10k at 16 cents. lost most of that position at 66 cents yesterday. That gave me more than 300% gain. Can't say the same for c-cube even though I like the fundermentals.
Eutc does business with DELL and IBM. I know that cube does also .
Eutc closed on fri at $3.25 and is in merger talks with a company that is interested in getting their presence in Europe. That company is at $4.00 and probably will have to pay more than a 1 for 1. If a 2 for 1 can happen than the stock might?? go to $8 on simple math. Would the company see other suitors interested before they finialize the merger?? I,m up 50% here on EUTC and will try for 300%. How are you doing? I'm sure that I'm a much different investor than me. Lets be friends not enemies. Remember, I'm LONG cube.
