>>booming summer consumption of oil/gas products? <<

I was talking today with my 1st cousin who trades oil and gas futures and mentioning the drillers and a couple I liked. If I understood him correctly he was telling me that gas futures hadn't been that strong, and this was putting downward pressure on oil prices - i.e. if gas futures were weak in front of the biggest seasonal consumption of same it MUST be because there was such a hugh glut of oil that gas was going to remain cheap, etc. etc. Can anyone who trades gas futures confirm or deny this? Because, if he's right, the sector could get more downward pressure here soon.
