Joseph Rubinfeld, Co-Founder of Amgen is to be a Director of Neot. The Proxy was filed on May 7th stating the nomination of Mr. Rubinfeld. He has some tremendous credentials. That may be an alternative to the investment newsletter theory. He was instrumental in many licensing deals with his past companies. This bodes very well for the shareholder's of Neotherapeutics.

I vote for 2, 1, 3 in that order because #3 doesn't identify who or what kind of buyers may have acted on that news. Besides, where did you see announcement? How does anyone find out about things like that? You'd have to be in some special loop to know about it, as far as I can tell. It is probably a happy convergence of all of these.
