Re: <You like losers and corporate welfare> Thanks Paul, After writing that James Burke Connections post, I wondered for a second what happened to the lawsuit. I am surprised the Datapoint corporate name even exists, let alone have a lawyer and spokeswoman. Was I a loser with Datapoint? Hardly. A kid couldn't have asked for a better after school job. It was a wonderful place for me and a great learning experience. I was able to become a welcome and contributing member of a development team, to see some great technology, and learn what was possible. The experience expanded my horizon, gave me a direction in life, and saved me from a much sadder fate. I am forever thankful to the Datapoint folks who took a chance on me. When I am your age, I will reminesce fondly of my time there. How will you remember your teenage years when you grow up?
