Barrick and calls - no, they buy calls, but frankly I'm not familiar with their strategy, and how it is balanced out - all I do know is that I read some time ago that they said that they participate in about 60% of an upside move (beyond their hedged price) 'through the use of call options'. I have therefore assumed that they have some sort of rolling call strategy, but, as I say, I don't know the mechanics. I will try to find out more about this. E.
