Gottfried, Have you noticed that we are still bouncing off the bull support line at 35 and in what DW refers at the noise range $35-$39. Also, it appears that everyone who is going to sell has done so with the volume today at 3,732,4000 out of 7,310,3000 and in a range of
35 3/4 - 36 3/4 closing at the high of the day.

It appears just like it was in the summer and fall of 96 when AMAT price wise was rebounding when eps was going down. AMAT, IMO, is almost impossible to figure out. I still think the best indication is the BTB as measured against the previous year at these levels. As soon at we see an uptic in the BTB I believe we will get a jump that we will not believe.

Have you drawn lines of the semi sector, 10week, option bp, etc., from the previous weeks and connecting to the current week. It is quite interesting to note the changes which occur. I highlighted all sectors/data Bull % above 69% and those below 39%. There has been quite a movement the last few weeks.

Just my oponions.
