"Did you catch the word alpha? Since then the words beta version, evaluation version, and final version have been mentioned."

Ah, words mentioned .... a nice start. Now how about the freakin product?

"Could it just possibly be that they have been improving it?"

Well, I dunno, and I doubt Bill does .... how about you or Rhonda tell us?

Or better yet, show us. Tell TED the password and login .... so easy

Yes John, I did catch the word alpha. Not surprisingly, you're either wildly incorrect or being completely dishonest&#151let's replay.

&#147There are posts on Yahoo, such as mine, that could not get the alpha to unzip completely and there are others that said it worked fine. Did you catch the word alpha? Since then the words beta version, evaluation version, and final version have been mentioned.&#148

&#147I could launch the Y2K software fine. It just crapped after hitting the "Analyzer" button.&#148

&#147I ran it and it crashed just like the a version I downloaded a few weeks ago.&#148
messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com

&#147I haven't played with it a lot yet, but it did search thru all the files on my hard drive and generated a report on what it found.&#148

All the time, you were there. You were asking for the software, too&#151you saw the posts, surely you must remember, or were you just bored with shilling "moonshot...off to the moon". Nobody mentions alpha, not even you&#151that's because it wasn't. Besides, when has a company ever released an alpha version to the public? It's too easy to pick apart&#151alphas are, by and large, internal releases. The only thing you sort of got right is that alpha is an important distinction in development stages.

Here's the kicker:

At best, all of the above outstanding recommendations were from the same version that internet-fx tested (ran perfect according to their qualified analysis).

At worst, internet-fx had an earlier version than everybody else. Makes sense as the press release came out the same day as most of the above outstanding recommendations&#151they had to have been testing it previously. But wait&#151internet-fx was using a beta copy (before the public received an alpha&#151yeah right):

biz.yahoo.com

&#147 4) Each year 2000 non-compliant software application has an option for patching said software, though in the Beta version, it has not yet been implemented. Beta versions of the software can be located at&#133&#148

So yeah John, I've heard of alpha.
Have a good round of golf.

Well, I expect taht at the very least they've been trying to get it to work.

Silly them! What a waste of time! You, a qualified evaluator of software, have already told us that it doesn't MATTER if it works!

I like Bill's idea about bulk-emailing the URL for MSFT. How much d'you think we could get for it per Unit?
