Milesovscorezov,

Thanks for that list. I'll work on some now. VCR and CADE are from the POW days from Sept. to Nov. last year. They both had attitude then so it's great to see them on your list Although I didn't mention any score for some of the recent stocks, AILP, AKRN and FAXX scored over 50 when I ran them about 5 weeks ago. I had mentioned that IFCI scored over 50 but somehow when an attitude stock pulls back for a short time, for some reason <<gg>> it gets "forgotten" by most people. I need to run MTON for a score as well since it's one from last year that scored over 50. The thing to remember about stocks with an attitude is that they are not quick trading situations. They are stocks to develop a plan of accumulation for and hold unless the profile breaks down. When SEEQ lost its attitude, I posted its downgrade when I saw that it was kicked out of the system on both of the first 2 blender speeds. That was after it nearly doubled and started a long agonizing slide. Once a stock has an attitude it can usually withstand some minor degradation over a few of the blender speeds but when the first two kick it out, it's not a good idea to hang on to it. By the time that happens though, the price is down a fair bit already. It is for that reason I hate to chase a stock. For VCR, I would say that one should make a decision on it as early as possible and avoid chasing it over 4 1/2 unless it builds a nice solid base in that area and breaks out from there on volume. Also on VCR, since the breakout is related to both the major downtrend involved with the MIMBO and a longstanding horizontal line at 4, it is entirely possible that a retest of the horizontal break may occur. The MIMBO has already been retested so I wouldn't expect a retest of the major DT line which is under 4. Well I guess I've procrastinated long enough. Time to get to your list.

thanks again for it,
Doug R

Milesov,

So far I've run MTON, VCR and ELGT. ELGT took a while because when I get one that scores 55 I have to go back and try to find any hint of a reason why it shouldn't be. I couldn't find anything to knock it down any so 55 it is. Remember that line I had as the critical resistance for it ( the highs on 8/19/97 and 3/23/98)? That was where it closed on Thu. Fri. it moved off that line and closed on the high. Very nice.

VCR got a score of 54. It started at 55 and on the rerun I was able to justify taking a point off based on the short term stochastics (the 2,1,2 thru 7,3,10) which makes sense since that 7th point tends to reflect timing and what the heck, Thu. was the better day to get in when it would have scored 55.

MTON came out of the blender with a good solid 51. No rush on it. Still a very good one to accumulate which I was able to start doing more of on Wed. Some chart stuff indicates a possible break above 15 on it by the end of the month with a possible top for the month at 17.

Ok, I've added two to your list and verified one from it. I'll run the rest as the weekend progresses. Maybe find some more while I'm at it.

Milesovattitudeov,

URGI...54 leaning strongly to 55

SIRC...52 leaning strongly to 53 (89 dMA/MLR not an optimal precrossover profile and somewhat extended got a 5).

SCVL...53 leaning toward 54.

Geez Milesov did you develop a scan to find these or something? Or did you slog through a ton of charts? Great job you've done finding them!! We're up to 6 so far, including VCR at 54, ELGT at 55 and MTON at 51.

I'll also run the rest (MATH, LGWX, DATC, CLCI and CADE). I don't doubt that they are all attitudinal as well. Does anyone else have anything worked up for Miles' list?

Well back to Milesov again,

I just ran MATH which comes in at 51. The PVINVI/OBV/MF/AD score is 5 on it so that needs to improve. The stochs are very good at 7 which, along with the MA/MLR Xover being so recent, makes it one to closely monitor. Long term prospects are good but it will be a bit edgy for a little while. I'll have the rest of them done by tomorrow along with the "volume watch" list. I also want to get a look at some of those on Carolyn S's "chart action" list and get to work on Watcher's contributions.

I worked up targets for SCVL (20 in 6 weeks or less) and URGI (15 in 6 weeks or less). SIRC seems to have only 2 to 3 points in it. Then there's VCR to 7 1/2 in 3 to 4 mos or less and ELGT to 6 in 6 weeks or less. MTON has a shot at 17 coming up and CADE is a couple weeks behind the time frame for the intermediate term target of 4 1/4 I got for it when it was chosen as a POW on Aug 6, '97. Intermediate as defined on this thread is 9 mos. Once CADE hits 4 1/4 I'll work up a new target for it.

I like VCR, CADE, SCVL, and LGWX the best

SCVL scored it a 54

LGWX scored a 55

have not had time to score the others.

I like CADE to 5.06 area real quick.
