chas, cost information is kept as confidential as possible. mu continuously brags about believing (their lawyers would NEVER let them say absolutely ;-) they are the low cost producer. remember, they are stock price manipulators and dram is just their method of having a stock to manipulate (ok, before i get blasted, this isn't 100% true. but, it is truer than it s/b). they said in their conference call in late dec that they "believed" (go attorneys! ;-) the koreanns were almost out of inventory. #1, there is no way they could know this. #2, they were wrong. #3, the stock went up $12 points or so shortly thereafter. stock went up. losses continue to mount. they cut the dividend w/o telling anybody - you see bad press would hurt their beloved options and share price. they said demand for dram remained strong as their eps went to $0 and beyond. these are a couple examples of the bs mu management puts out. now, i'm supposed to believe it when they say they "believe" they are the low cost producer and their broker and analyst hacks repeat it (not meant for larry, he is merely repeating what the hacks say). yeah, just like they believed korea to be nearly out of inventory ;-) it amazes me how a management team like mu can beat their investors (and mu has been one of the sorriest investments since 1995 - down about 65% while the market is up over 65%) and they still fall for their same old shell game. please... ;-) barnum was right. just not about me ;-) some people are either extraordinarily dumb or thay are in on the scam in some way. imho, tk was when he was pimping mu against all rational analysis. now he all of a sudden has seen the light and wants to get some shares low.
