H&Q did not really explain the $0.84, but anything close would cause a major price explosion. The differnce is about $30 million in profits, which could come from off label use or additional alliances, both of which are real possibilities.

Recently, H&Q put out a very bullish Biotech report, so they may just be more optimistic about the sector in general. LGND's pipeline:
home.att.net begins to show where some of this extra money could come from.
