rudedog... Yep, polishing up the ole golf clubs and ready for 18! CPQ had a great week. Hoping for more upside next week, too. We may be able to slipstream DELL on the anticipation of good earnings. Have a nice weekend. El

rudedog---- Good morning ---A follow up :
1)Status on inventory adjustment ---was disappointed that EP did not bring this up on MONEYLINE ( seem like the show was a can package )
2) Any idea on why the restructuring charge for DEC is so high ? 15000 employees at an average of $50000 separation package = 750 million + 100 million for the bankers etc = 850 million to one billion . Any idea where the extra impact is coming from ? ( CPQ ? )
3)Any feedback on the BTO system ? Is it working ? I do not understand why CPQ would be increasing orders from INTC if they were in fact going to use a BTO system .

In order for CPQ stock to advance their core business has to perform this qtr or at least show indications that it is under control . DEC will be good for CPQ but unless the bread and butter part of the business starts to come back the foundation for the future is in trouble

Thanks in advance for your thoughts

BEST WISHES
