I posted this on yahoo and wondered if this could hold water. My posts about possible scenarios are to be taken with a dose of salt since these are only possible explanations. I KNOW there is nothing wrong with company fundamentals to explain this so I am only throwing out other reasons for thought. Sector out of favor=true but not to this degree; we outran ourselves=true but we should be in the 50 range at least; The shorting while heavy selling pressure is on= very plausable - Now one other - I asked if anyone subcribed to MAX PAIN THEORY of BCA software at www.pipeline.com. I don't and found it interesting but not worth my cash. It theorizes about the point that stocks are manipulated to a price during options expiration that will keep most options at a worthless value for both puts and calls combined. I know this is often done when possible but don't know how to compute it. I looked up May options and notice that the shorts are already covering fast. there are less than 100 until you get to puts at 45=238, 50=397 then back to low numbers. Not much pain from the put side (most smart ones know we can rebound any minute) On the calls however, low numbers up to 40 then 40=133, 45=463, 50=478, 55=821, 60=765. Now wouldn't it be in the brokers best interest to not have to pay the big bucks on these? If they saw a chance for weakness due to selling to keep the price low while KEA was weakened till this Friday wouldn't they. I am starting to believe myself that ALL the possible scenarios are being played out. We are being manipulated by one or more big guns to both make the majority of calls expire worthless, make money on the short side, and accumulate cheap shares for the impending bounce when they let go and this thing releases its pent up energy skyward. Just an idea of mine. (Take salt now) Lets get IT done. PS- charts show we should start recovering soon regardless
