Fitz....There were a couple more and they all came on at the same time. Very suspicious. I agree with Brad about the MM's shorting the F#$k out of us, but, without an accurate accountability of share count we can't accurately assume this. O/S has grown and we have no idea what restrictions were placed upon them. Ira says "all" restricted. That may be accurate, but, what time frame ? A week, a month , a year ? Still a lot of questions need to be answered. Our bible should shed some light.

Fitz,

A name change or symbol change wont make any MM's cover. This happens all the time... (look at EBIZ/JAWW/JAWZ as a recent example) its not a device like an stock exchange change where MM's would need to cover.

P.S. Have to agree with Tonto on this one, that wasnt too much of a balance sheet.

P.S.S. How come Ira never answers responses about shares O/S directed to him on the thread? He always avoids that question...

On a positive note, it does look like they are buying back shares from Ira's response.

If it were me.. since Ira says so many shares are restricted, that means the float has supposedly stayed constant the past 6 months (I doubt it, but thats what the theory is from management).. I would constitute a large buyback (example 10M shares).. that way the TOTAL O/S may only fall from 55M to 45M or so (18% less) but the float would fall in much larger proportion. Example: if the float is now 20M, then buying 10M on the market would cut the float in half. It wouldnt do much in terms of shares O/S reduction, but it would have a great affect on the agility of the stock (lower float). In lieu of another NASDAQ reverse merger candidate, that is the strategy I would employ.

Last, it is critical to know when the NEW shares become unrestricted. This info will NOT be in the 1997 financials because the majority of those shares were NOT created in year 1997. So the EARLIEST anyone is going to know this info is when 1Q 1998 financials are released. (if the info is included there) It really is important to know WHEN these new shares are going to start hitting the market.... and how many.

Not a CEO,
Mark
