To Bruno & J-R Grenier. I believe that CGI is well positioned to get more important international contracts. These people are on a roll.

I have a feeling that Bell and CGI have a master plan to position CGI as a global and imposing player in the IT consulting/outsourcing field with telecom expertise. Notice the moves done by the major telecom companies. It seems important for their survival due to the technological and market changes imposed by the WEB. He who has the knowledge and expertise will survive.

More and more these telecom companies will use this leverage to greatly benefit from this Revolution Era of the Telecom industry and ensure not only their survival but also to achieve dominance.

That is why even if there is no other acquisition, CGI will still achieve a growth of about 30-40% = +/- the market growth. But I still think that their buying spree is not finish. We must expect to see at least one in the U.S. market so that Bell/CGI can reach their goal.

Have you noticed on the TSE this past week. On a few occasions I noticed blocks of CGI shares, 25000, 50000, 100000 and 200000 shares were purchased. That's $1M, $2M, $4.3M and $9M. If these institutions are buying at these prices, they surely have confidence in this stock. Often before hand they get to speak with the CEO to size him up, the company and their ability to deliver.

So in a nut shell, I believe that the CGI shares will fluctuate between $43 to $48 before the split. We should see a split around the $46 mark. By November 1998, the stock should be around $28(or $56 before split).

But I hope I'm wrong.... I hope it goes to $30 by June 30th !!!
