David - When CPU bottomed about two years ago, after it went down to exactly 7 from highs of about 40, the recently appointed CEO and almost everyone at the company were buying the stock, big time. They certainly were also loaded with options. The stock rallied back up as soon as the news about insiders buying leaked out. The stock went up more then 10 folds since then (splitting twice along the way). I am not sure whether the situation went in the same way with IBM when Gershner took the helm but, insiders buying was the flag which marked IBM's price recovery. I think I am beginning to understand the latests manouvering by the company which used to be Borland. Del did say that the acquisition of Visigenic represented a pooling of interest and was not going to dilute the stock. I think what happened is BORL did not acquire VSGN. Nor did VSGN acquire BORL. They were BOTH been acquired by this new company INPR. So, here we are... we witnessed a practical split in the share without ripping any financial benefit from that. We also saw the company we'r invested in being acquired without getting any financial benefit from that. Will the future make up for this? It will remain to be seem. Ghassan.

I would like to see a share buyback too but clearly with an acquisition planned there is no chance
