Louie D: your post to Tokyo seems quite reasonable, people have more power than they think. Especially when they stick together, but of course if they all jump out at the same time, down the stock goes and somebody has to get stuck at higher prices, so how do you ever stick together it can't be done. it's first come first serve on stocks....can it be any other way???????

Louie you make a few interesting points. I think everyone will agree that Tokyo's buying power has been diluted by the new site. I don't think the idea of a "free" site that some people pay for and others do not will ever fly... YOU may be willing to foot the bill for others, but I suspect that most people wouldn't...

My question is this, why have a website at all? I thought one of the big reasons to have a website was to keep out naysayers and other "undesirables". Well you can't have it both ways... if you want all that buying power, you have to put up with some people you don t like...

Another reason for the site was faster notification. Is it really faster? During the free trial, I had to keep refreshing the page to see the pick appear... Is this still the case? Does "instant" email work? Is the notification process ACTUALLY faster than it was here on SI?

Maybe Jack can answer this question.. Is there really a good reason to have a site, and if there is, why not simplify it to greatly reduce costs, and make it free? (again not being a webmaster that is a question for Jack Z)

I personally am doing fairly well, and am focusing on longer plays, but a quick trade here and there wouldn't hurt...

Also it seems that a LOT of people are complaining about a lack of solidarity. Well, then get rid of the elitist private, members only barrier and we all become one big happy family again (of course with the cousin we never talk about.....)

No large group of people can go without personality clashes and little spats, but what s wrong with a little friction now and then? As long as we lighten up, we can make a lot of money AND insult the crap out of each other...
