Turns out most of these tactics only work if only a few do them. Think about BTS. If everyone followed the sell half on a double, how many would pull it off. All those that bought at X would try and sell half at 2X , but how many would really succeed.

Think about it, most of the time, if you sell all on a double, the stock will probably pull back so that if all you did would buy back half, you would be ahead...but then every now and then, you sell all and it goes ballistic.

You just never know. So the BTS rule is a good compromise. It would have worked great with GLOW, LGOV, AVBC. The sell all rule would have worked with CSMA, MDMI.
