Many thanks, Glenn, as always. It's good to hear that procedures were sound at "our" end and that the disconnect was within DJ & Co. itself (between AE and legal).

Certainly do appreciate your continued vigilance.

I knew you would be timely to responding to the DJ article ...Starting a new business will bring many bumps along the way..I know as well as others on this thread who own or have owned their own companies that no matter how diligent you are to 'cross your t's and dot your i's, there will be things that sideswipe you, but you have a grasp of the issues and a level head...I was never in the'panic' mode after I read the article. Thanks for the calm voice .

Glenn, thank you for the very prompt explanation of this problem...it is important for there to be a release issued from DJ as well as PNLK to reiterate the agreement and clarify its' terms.

It would be best for all involved parties if this could be cleared up before the open on Monday! Seems to me like DJ's legal dept. is up to their usual tricks. This has happened before (in fact, there are some major court cases against DJ by numerous small companies whose reputation has been damaged by the overzealous and reactionary legal beagles over there.) The matter should have been cleared up internally at DJ before they made a release about it.

prnewswire.com.
You stated in response:
>>> after I had been given permission by the Account Executive at Dow Jones to release the news, the Dow Jones legal department contacted me ...that the actual contract had not been signed (we were waiting for that to arrive) and two, that the release was misleading in the sense that we were not offering the information for "free" but that is was part of the membership fee for ProNetLink. <<<

Has the contract now been signed? The release said "free to members" not "free from Dow Jones."

This needs to be cleared up with a retraction or restatement by Dow Jones. Hopefully, there is someone that can be contacted there during the weekend. It is imperative that this matter be cleared up promptly.

Thank you in advance.

Peter

Glenn Zagoren

Well apparently you and Zagoren-Zozzora, Inc. are not quite as competent as many on this thread had been led to believe. What a news fiasco has been created. Since when does an Account Executive provide permission for the release of corporate news?

The PNLK release concerning the Dow Jones News Focus service offering barely even mentions Dow Jones and Co. Dow Jones Interactive Publishing is not mentioned at all and there is no quote from any Dow Jones and Co. representative. It almost appears as is PNLK is trying to mislead potential clients and investors. IMO drastic action is needed in order to clear up this situation.

From the press release: "ProNetLink(R)........will offer the Dow Jones News Focus free of charge to its members.

What, it should have said "to its paying members"? Sounds like a pretty thin story to me. The release clearly states that the service is for members. Draw your own conclusions.

Found Example of Previous DJ release.

Glenn, this may offer an idea to a nice co-release between PNLK and Dow Jones.
