GPW SHORT POSITION. According to The Financial Post today, the April 30, 1998 short position in GPW remained basically unchanged at 156,800 shares. Considering that the average daily volume is only 6,435 shares (24 days) and the float is very small, it could present a most interesting situation : a short squeeze in the making! All that is needed is one news release announcing a huge contract or larger than expected revenues or a strategic merger or acquisition or any good news that pushes the stock above $ 8.00. There is no place for the shorts to hide. By the way, I will be asking my broker on Monday to register my 2,000 shares in my name. Every little bit helps. Have a very nice day. Pierre
