A few weeks ago the stock was really running higher on extremely high volume. I think another buy out rumor was sweeping the market. Some guy with an alias showed up over at Yahoo and was hyping the stock saying a buddy said American BioMed was going to be bought by So and So and that everyone should buy now before it was too late. I tried to get anyone who would take the time to slow down and think that probably it was just another groundless rumor.

I hate to see people buy into a stock while it is running so fast because someone is bound to buy too much too high and feel like they have been cheated by the hype if the rumor does not turn out to be true. American BioMed now has the cash available to really make it on it's own if necessary. I don't think that means that the company has no interest in pursuing strategic partnerships or even an eventual buy out if the terms are right but hyping such a possibility is damaging to a company and it's stock.

All the people who might buy too high get scared that they should sell because the hype seems to have been nothing but hype. Anyway I really believe the stock will head higher again soon based on evidence that the fundamentals of the company continue to improve. It could do that next week or it may consolidate but there is just too good a story here for the stock to pull back much.

Coffin Communications knows that and so do we.
