Here is something from today's (May 9) Globe and Mail: Stock of the week: Newbridge Networks Corp. [bolded in original] Think of this as a little nod to those bottom-feeders who had the wherewithal to buy Newbridge's battered shares back in February when everyone was crying that the sky was falling. Newbridge shares have battled back from a 1998 low of $27.50 in early February to close at $46.05, which means the bargain hunters who bought low have almost doubled their money. The stock tacked on 9.4 per cent this week, one of the strongest performers in the TSE 300. I can't wait for next week :-))
