Well, looking up Jesus in the Stron'gs just to see if I could find a clue as to use it in the English, or not use it in the English, I could find only that Jesus was a name given to Jesus and several others in the Bible. It was in fact a common name. It is Christos, meaning "the annointed". We all know this. However, pentacostals screaming Jesus, in English, and banging their hands together and whistleing and shouting to the ceiling--well, it strikes me as going nowhere. It has it's reward, but what? The Move of God moved on as soon as these things started happening, as anyone can remember.

I think we are all drifting off the exact path, for some reason, but that's only me. I don't see that all this obsessing over the name of Jesus in any way is bringing about any more closeness to our Heavenly Father, or any more precense of the Precious Holy Spirit of both Father and Son here on earth.

It it all meaningful, is what I'm asking.

Nothing of what any of us do any more lines uip with the book of Acts, the AGe of Saints in Europe, the various real revivals of the movement of the Holy Spirit in America, especially, and as late as 1968 when it apparently began to start small fires that spread quickly in Northern California, especially, to the 4 corners of America. That lasted only as long as the hippies didn't jget jobs and begin to obsess about their possessions. I say that in truth, unfortunately.

Is there anyone here that has a clue as to what went on in the early l970's, by that time it had spread out to 10s of thousands of churches rather than little isolated groups everyone thought was sweet, but nuts.

Things in history have about a 10 year span. Then satan's minnions and other Christians even, come in with heavy boots and stamp out the fire. This is pure history , and nothing new. But does anyone here remember anything about it? Or has it all been forgotten and buried even in the lifetime of those who saw it and lived it?

Whatever it was, trust me, and believe me if you want to, or dislike me for saying it if you want to, but what's happening anywhere right now ain't the fullness of the Holy Spirit. It is not even the tithing of the 10th of the Holy Spirit.

On that I stand firm and without wavering. Period. Bring on the Inquisition if you like, I'm not going to lie to please other Christians. The king in the parade has no clothes on. And most of you can see it if you look. You have just been conned into believing that a naked king is actually a clothed king, and you shouldn't be worried about it.

That's why nothing we are doing anywhere has any correlation to the Book of Acts, our primary instruction manual. But it is very comparable to wordly activities of our day. Period.
IMHO only. It seems that it is about time someone began to mention it.
