If earnings explode PE ratio changes overnight. As long you show visibility of the growth you will be rewarded high et.al DELL, MSFT they always look expensive and keep moving up. Value investing is a entirely different. Look no further than GM which has intrinsic value of 100+ but trades in 60s. In the familiar words of the former VP candidate: "I knew Jack Kennedy and Ascend is no Microsoft." (And it ain't exactly DELL either. Closer to GTW; a good company but not a great one.)
