I believe that somewhere along the line, someone had said that a DST was not done on the Strachan well.

I think your post has just displayed what we are arguing about. We do not know what the Strachan well holds until further analysis. Hence, we are speculating.

In RIK's example. if I said to someone who is not in the business:

"Our well has hit 20 feet of gas pay. Logs are encouraging, with a strong crossover indicated, and a high resistivity indicating good porosity in the reservoir. We believe it to be a gas bearing reservoir. Gas shows were seen from the well cuttings. We are encouraged by our indications so far."

What have you ACTUALLY got in the above example? My paragraph above is comprised from the information RIK provided. Now, if an investor is not in the biz and is without the advantage of your years of experience, what does the above paragraph sound like? Precisely.

And what have you ACTUALLY got, in the above example, by your own admission? Less gas than a 2 beer fart.

We need more information... until then, the play is speculative. SHOW ME THE GAS!

You are correct, GH, this well would not be tied in by any straight thinking operator.
