..Actually I think CheckFree will do fine if the economy goes down. One thing you must remember with this company, it will save billers money. If the outlook of the economy starts to look bad, companies will look at ways to cut costs. One way to cut costs, is to send out less paper, and use electronic transactions. Banks will also save money by pushing towards the internet, just look at NetBank. IMO CheckFree is one of the few stocks that will fare well in a bad economy. With CheckFree everyone wins, except the post office.
