off topic Many of you have asked about the stock I mentioned so here it is... it has the best online IR package I've ever seen. I hate to mention other stocks on threads but since I've gotten a bunch of requests, this is easier than sending a ton of private messages... Tigershark Enterprises - TGSK sitra.com * 7.2MM shrs outstanding * 2.2MM in the public float (1.8MM are held by a loosely organized SI/Yahoo shareholder group... you know, one of those informal "let's count up the thread's shares kind of things) * 500K shr buyback in progress, 300K completed (I did not adjust the above totals for the buy back) * 0.29 AUDITED EPS for 1997 (full financials on web site) * 0.10 EPS for 1st qtr 1998 * Company has filed to become a voluntary reporting Co. * Public since January 98, private since 1993. Profitable since inception and there is a spot on the web site showing past performance as well as future projections for earnings, profits, and shares outstanding * Possibily 2MM shr short position in the stock My Dad reviewed the financials and pronounced them very clean. A client of his asked his Dean Witter broker about the company and after the guy looked into it he actually bought some himself (and the guy hates penny stocks). From a technical point of view, the company closed Friday for the first time in a long while above the $1.50 resistance we've been hitting for a long time. Personally I think we will see a nice break out on Monday and the float is small enough it could be really cool. As to the short position thing -- usually mention of a short position is enough to send me running because that is the stuff hype is made of, but if it really does exist it is simply icing on the cake of a company with fantastic fundamentals.
