Dear D; Thanks for the welcome. Haven't lost the faith. Was traveling for a while and lost touch. As to the current situation; it almost seems sure that something is cooking with a new partner. This is based on the stock price action since there's been no news on trial outcome to justify a move as strong as AMLN has had. The proprietary charting I use was quite positive down around 3 and continued until a few days ago. There's been no selling but accumulation by "whomever" has abated. A normal reaction to the price action would be expected to lower price a bit. My guess is that we won't see the outcome of whatever is driving the price up for awhile. As I noted, it's possible a new partner will wait to consummate a deal until J&J puts up the balance of the amount of their obligation. They might also want to wait until the European trial results are in.
At the end of the day, the trial results will be the fundamental determinant for long term investors. I keep thinking about the report that 75% of the type 2's had stayed on. I've been disappointed that the Company is not able to follow up on these and know whether that is still the case. Confirmation would give us quite a boost.
Hopefully, the worst is over and it's nice to be heading in the right direction,
Regards,

Arnie
