Positive mention this morning (5/14/98) on Bloomberg TV show in the "stocks to watch" segment regarding AVIR. Mentioned vaccine, no injection, and high protection rates. Also mentioned the same features in last nights 11:00 news in Boston. Seems like we're back on the radar screen....

Dick Davis' Digest, May 18 th.. highlights avir as one of the best buys among biotechs. he states that avir is expected to file for FDA approval no later than august and this drug could get the FDA's blessing two months after the review... I own some of this stock and would love to see them get FDA approval so fast, but I know from past experience... FDA approval takes time, and i don't know where Dick Davis gets off suggesting a two month period. Does anyone have thoughts on this. also, is the Product License Application that they are going to file the same thing as an NDA? and when are they expected to file?
