"In other words, a few heads will turn, and then most will turn back to their belief that Windows 95 and NT was handed down from God to Gates to computer consumers."
I recently had two separate but similar conversations with acquaintances that snorted that AAPL was back only courtesy of Bill Gates and his $150 million investment. While I concur that the MS investment does have a certain PR excitement to it,a $150 million investment into a company that is sitting on $1 1/2 Billion in cash can hardly be characterized as "saving" AAPL. Am I missing something?
