Things are getting more capitalistic in China every day. The idea of improving oneself, as opposed to the Commie ideal, is gaining ground as we speak. Communism does not work (outside of a small cooperative commune), PERIOD! For other than a few years as a warped post-adolescent, nobody is going to bust hump continuously for no personal benefit! Basic capitalism does work! Even if a guy is taxed sideways (the Hillary plan) he will still try to produce a little more to profit and improve his lot - if he can. The Chinese economy is improving, people are making a buck - so they are going to become consumers! I work because I want "stuff", you work because you want "stuff", they're working becuse they want "stuff". Call it the "...Carlin Principle..."; everybody likes "stuff". Once people get a taste of progress and prosperity - you try to take it back and you're in for a royal butt kicking! Want to start a civil war real quick - go to a biker bar (read: neighborhood) and try to take away someone's Harley (read: your toy)! A Chinaman with a nice gas stove is absolutely no different than you with a new Corvette! If you DD around too long, I'll be waving at you on the dock - as we go by on Dusty's new C&N-48 (what's-his-name will be below polishing brass and stuffing sail-bags). BBruin You are thinking like an American. Westinghouse, G.E. appliances. The average Chinese makes about $500.00 to $1000.00 a year Now think Chinese. Like a Coleman stove, a small gas heater space heater. Those are relatively inexpensive. We are not talking about an all gas 2500 sq ft house. We are talking about a 500 sq ft dwelling that may or may not have a cement floor. And you must remember, China can be a very COLD place. So for them to have the opportunity to have cheap, safe, clean heat, and cooking fuel, they are going to jump at the chance. And with their government mandating strict smog controls for the future, LPG is a natural. And LGOV has LPG for sale. Now ask your self what your wife would think if she had a choice of having to start a fire, and wait 1/2 to 1 hour so she could start dinner after she had worked 10 -12 hours. Or turned the gas on and she's in business. Now ask your self, do you want to wait an hour or an hour and 1/2 for dinner or breakfast Or when you come home, do you want to wait an hour to heat up your house. Or jump in a cold shower. My friend, NOT ME. When i'm cold I want heat NOW. This is the way you have to think. China is an old and great culture. But in many ways they are still a very young nation in the way of creature comforts. Largo is giving their people a way to ease their lives in the most basic ways. Heat and cooking. I have done countless hours of DD on Largo and China and I have yet to see a down side. But don't take my word, or anyone else. Make up your own mind. Do your DD and make an informed decision.
