Dear FNTNer's (Bill, Techno., Don,& others),

New to SI but have been following the threads for quite some time now. I would like to say I am very impressed with the informative content of the messages and not the BS you see on yahoo and other msgs sites.

I made my first purchase (although small) of FNTN last week. I did what what research on the company mainly from input on these threads and then searched extensively via web and other sources. I also e-mailed MS and hope for a reply from him at the office next week.

I consider myself the young investor who learned from a one time mistake of a stock I won't mention. So if my questions sometimes seem (stupid) "although I've always been told there is no such thing as a stupid question unless it is not asked" --- please don't flame me to hard.

I still have a lot to learn about how the stock investments work but feel that with what I know and understand about FNTN I have possibly found the diamond in the rough. Please keep up the very informative posts. They have been really helpful.

I do have a first question though. There has been a lot of talk about taking the stock for the LONG haul. What exactly is the long haul. My senses want to tell me that if I can make a quick return of 10% or better I should take my winnings and walk. But the other voice in my head tells me to forget that I even spent the money and walk away for 1, 3, or even 10 years (just example numbers) and come back to reap my possible retirement earnings.

Where I'm I going with this I guess I would like some insight from those of you who do this on a daily basis.

Thanks in advance,

Greg Hodges
