I dont follow follow many of these installment receipt investments. But there some that trade above their offering price for an extended period before the second installment is due. In other words, between the issue date and the date of the second installment, do some of these investments actually appreciate.

All the ones that I see trade down. Is this the norm? Could you name a few that have done well? I am tending to stay away from these offerings, and look to buy say a month or two before the second installment is due.
