Yes, that was the line he used with me initially, too. Said he needed my fax/phone number so that he could "send me information" because he anticipated being away from his computer for some time. Which turned out to be a lie.

Yeah, the grass is tall, and hides a lot of snakes. Of course, sometimes this aids the mice to sneak up on them and take mouthfuls of their juicy tails.

He does get a couple of good Spanish puns in with his Shillic license with English spelling, though;

""pope to give papel blessing". get a grip" - the Spanish 'papel' = 'paper', and we use it to describe stock, especially worthless stock, in the same sardonic manner as in English.

"I am invested in casco," - 'casco' in S comes from the same Latin root as the English 'cask', and among its numerous meanings is the equivalent of the English 'crock' as used in the following sentence;

What a crock.

Btw, this is a crock - "If it a scam (and not just sloppy start up) we have a task force here that will nip this in the bud."

The RCMP has no mandate and no funding to do any more than perfunctory scanning of a small minority of the more publicized stock scams, and only long after it would do any good. They are a good outfit, they get right on the case of violent crime, but they simply aren't given the money to protect property - and if I told you to what extent that is true, you likely wouldn't believe it.

A 'for instance' - call them up and tell them your house was broken into and robbed. They will try to satisfy you by recording the complaint and giving you an 'offence number' for the insurance company. Period. They'll be quite irritated if you want more.

Bruce,

messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com

At least we have one thing in common:

Who do I work for...me. (My boss is a little arrogant, but he pays well).

I work for... me as well. My boss pays well also, he's not arrogant, but he can be an a**hole. Seem like your boss is the same.
